Back by popular demand, this year’s Pre-Oscar Awards Movie Discussion Event will draw from these possible topics:

Our returning speaker is Matt Pais, a professional writer, interviewer and author who spent 11 years as the movie critic and music editor for the Chicago Tribune’s RedEye, interviewing hundreds of celebrities and reviewing more than 2,000 movies. He was also a contributing movie critic for four years on NBC-5 Chicago, for three years on WCIU’s “You and Me This Morning” and for two years on WGN radio. He has been a member of the Chicago Film Critics Association since 2006. Matt’s newly published book is "Talk '90s with Me". A native of Deerfield, Illinois, Matt majored in journalism at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and now lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and sons.
