The goal of the Membership Recruitment committee is to recruit new members though three different methods.
We host four ‘Bring A Friend’ events throughout the year to encourage our members to “Give the Gift of EPWNG” to someone they know and bring them to one of these events. This is also an opportunity for a member to gain exposure for their business by hosting the event.
We host two ‘New Member Breakfasts’ for our new members which allows them to meet current members and learn how to navigate our EPWNG membership. It’s an open Q/A session and our members often learn something from these breakfasts too!
Lastly, we have started our ‘Next Gen’ division of the MRC. This sub-committee’s objective is to promote EPWNG to women professionals in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s. There have been three ‘Next Gen’ events, all of which were well-attended and, as a result, we have had many new members!
News From The Board
Our focus this year is growing our membership, in particular the Chicago chapter. We encourage members to invite Chicago-based women to a Chicago meeting.
There is no charge for guests and our MAC leaders will be there to welcome them should the member not be able to attend.
Also, our Diversity team (a sub-committee of the Experience committee) will launch this year. We are hoping to launch this with a non-profit event this year.
